The Chalet, traditional outside and ultra-modern inside, is fully furnished and equipped for worry-free move-in for long or short stays. A porch, wood balconies and a large flagstone terrace for sunbathing or entertainment complement the natural surroundings. The open beamed ceilings, the carpeted parquet floors and the Norwegian decorated "Kachelofen" complete its rich and comfortable environment. 

All beds have eiderdowns or blankets on request. Central radiant floor heating is available year round. Wine cellar is stocked and available on honor system (charged to or replaced by guest).

Though Morissen may be small and quiet, and off the beaten path, it is not remote. The ski lift stations are a mile downhill from the Chalet to which skiers return on well groomed ski-paths. In Summer and Fall, parcours trails to the high peaks are a hiker's and botanist's delight. Vella, the regional administrative center, has 4 restaurants, a mini-market, bakery, petrol station, a pharmacy and medical clinic, a bank and a post office. 

It is on the main bus line from Ilanz, 2000 ft. below and 6 miles by road, astride the Upper Rhine river. Ilanz has 2 medium sized shopping malls, a museum/library, fine churches, a hospital, schools and many shops. As a major take-off point by bus to many other destinations in the mountains nearby, it is an ideal center for active vacationers and sport enthusiasts (rafting, hang-gliding, snow-boarding, etc.). 

Obersaxen-Meierdorf, Klosters, Parpan, Flims, Andermatt, Davos and Arosa are internationally known sports resorts within easy driving distance. The Sports Arena and the Gondola in Flims (15 mi.) for example attract professionals and celebrities from around the world. Fine shops and gourmet restaurants abound in this vacation paradise for those who seek a respite from the madding crowds and high prices of the usual resorts. 

Chur (Coire), a medieval city with Roman origins, is the cantonal center (25 mi.) with rail and road connections Europe-wide.
