John's Gate is an elegant pre-Victorian style home, custom built in 1999 for Bed and Breakfast. It has a spacious wrap-around porch, where guests have their early morning tea and coffee, or enjoy a glass of wine on a warm summer night after the theatre. When you enter John's Gate through the guest's private entrance, you can relax in our very 'warmly decorated' parlour which has a fire-place, T.V. and a bar-fridge completed stocked with juices and pop.

We have a separate dining room for guests and offer a breakfast that will last you all day!

We are centrally located and accessible to the theatres, fine dining, boutique shopping, antique shops, golf courses, nurseries, wineries and the breath taking drive along the Niagara River to Niagara Falls, horticultural gardens and the now famous Casino Niagara.

John's Gate is open year round. Gift certificates are available for all occasions.

John's Gate is licensed by the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and is a member of The Chamber of Commerce, The Bed and Breakfast Association of Niagara-on-the-Lake, an Associate Member of FOBBA, (Federation of Ontario Bed & Breakfast Accommodation) and RetailCanada.

Please add 7% G.S.T. to your room rate. For all guests from outside Canada, this 7% can be claimed back upon leaving Canada at the Tax Rebate Centre. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking. Should you have to cancel, we request an eight day cancellation notice prior to arrival to receive a full refund. If you cancel with less than seven days notice, full payment is charged. We will do our best to rebook the room, to avoid this charge.
