Breckenridge is located at 9600 feet (elevation) in a high alpine valley. The Breckenridge Ski Resort is the second most popular ski area in North America and often hosts World Cup events.

Breckenridge is connected by free public transportation to nearby ski areas at Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain and to a plethora of factory outlet shopping malls in Silverthorne. The town connects to a fifty mile network of paved, off-road bicycle paths. The town of Breckenridge contains a National Historic District and, in the summer, is host to the National Repertory Orchestra. Recreation opportunities in the Breckenridge area include downhill and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, road and mountain biking, white water rafting, sailing, canoeing, hiking, balloon rides, horseback riding, tennis, and golf.

This spacious (1500 sq. ft.) 2-bedroom-plus-loft, 2-bath luxury vacation rental by owner is surrounded by firs and is ideal or small-family vacations or for larger groups of up to 10. It features open architecture and is a 5 minute walk to Main Street, Breckenridge, the new skating complex, and the ski lift at Peak 9. Spectacular alpine views can be found from both sides.

The fully equipped kitchen (granite counter tops, new appliances, vented grille, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave) looks out onto Bald Mountain (elevation 13684 feet) and the Continental Divide. The private and peaceful rear deck offers a view of Peak 10 (see picture). Both the living room and master bedroom have gas fireplaces with marble surrounds.  The entertainment center features a 32" TV (cable), VCR, CD, Stereo, and a video library.
